On Saturday, Sept. 10, Rogers Place welcomed nearly 60,000 people to a Public Open House.
Prismview A Samsung Electronics Company, built and installed a new center hung Scoreboard,
Fascias and other displays at the new Roger Place in Edmonton, AB.
The Rogers Place LED Display package consists of 16 unique displays covering over 22,000 square
feet of area inside and outside of the arena. All displays for this project were built in Prismview’s
Logan,Utah manufacturing facility before installation in the new 820,000 square foot home
of the Edmonton Oilers.
The Main Scoreboard assembly above center-ice is a dazzling combination of four 1080p HD Primary
Video Screens, Corner Accent Details with adaptive LED back-light, Upper and Lower Halo Rings,
and two Underbelly Ventral Displays – providing real-time game footage, instant replays, game and
league statistics, static images, and animations creating full fan immersion for each of the 18,000 seats.
The arena also features three distinct, multi-level LED Fascia Ribbons – Loge Level, Stage End, and
Suite Level – with a combined length over 1,600 linear feet encircling the entire arena.
Other LED displays installed throughout the property include the one-of-a-kind shaped
Ford Hall Wintergarden display (shown below), Vomitory Displays, Box Office Tickers,
Exterior Fascia Ribbons, Marquee, Retail, and Roadside screens – totaling over 25
million pixels in LED signage.
